  • Hoang Lien Son range is up to 180 km in length, 30 km in width, with some peaks ranging from 2800 to 3000 m in height.
  • Song Ma mountain range is 500 km in length, with peaks above 1800 m in height. Between these two mountain ranges is the low hilly area of the Da river basin.
  • In addition to the Da River, which is a large river, the Northwest region has only small rivers and streams, including the upper Ma River.

Day 1: Hà Nội – Mộc Châu

    • 13:30 Visit Sơn La prison.
    • 14:30 Continue on car to Điện Biên Phủ. On the way we stop to visit Muong Phang historical relic site
    • 17:00 Check in hotel at Điện Biên Phủ.
    • 19:00 Have a dinner in hotel then free to relax or discover around.

Day 3: Điện Biên Phủ – Tuần Giáo – Than Uyên – Sìn Suối Hồ

    • 7:00 Have breakfast at hotel
    • 7:30 Car and Guest services officer pick you up at hotel and move to Tuần Giáo – Than Uyên.
    • 12:30 Stop have lunch and relax in restaurant.
    • 16:00 Arrive Sìn Suối Hồ, checkin homestay (the house of H’mong people) and relax.

Day 4: Sìn Suối Hồ – Sa Pa

Day 5: Sa Pa

Day 6: Sa Pa – Hà Nội

    • 11:30 Check out hotel then move to Sa Pa town for lunch.
    • 13:00 Move to Hà Nội. It takes about 6km for a way 300km in length.
    • Afternoon: Free to relax.
    • 19:30 Arrive Hà Nội. Checkin then have dinner at hotel.
