National Backwards Day is observed annually on January 31. On this special day, participants are urged to shake up their routines by executing common tasks in reverse. You may spend the day with your suit on inside out, say goodbye instead of hello, or have dessert before dinner. You could do what we’re about to do and play slot machines that pay both left to right and right to left if you don’t want your typical persona to be tarnished. We’ve included four of our top picks below.
Arctic Blast
Even though Siberian Storm isn’t a brand-new slot machine, it continues to be a fan favorite. IGT introduced the game in 2011 to brick-and-mortar casinos, and in 2017 they introduced it to internet casinos. The majestic magnificence of the Siberian tiger is the inspiration for this 5-reel, 3-4-5-4-3 slot machine with 720 possibilities to win on every spin.
Different trinkets made from tiger teeth, two different depictions of the Siberian tiger, and the Siberian Storm emblem are all used as symbols. The game is set in the frigid Siberian forest, and the rumbling score doesn’t waste any time getting the player into an adventurous frame of mind.
If you’re lucky enough to see five tiger’s eyes anywhere in view, you’ll be rewarded with eight free spins and the opportunity to play for even more cash prizes. The number of free spins you receive is capped at 240 each round, and additional free spins can be retriggered during the round.
Due to the MultiWay Xtra format, winning combinations can begin either to the left, as in a traditional slot machine, or to the right, as in this game. That’s why it’s fitting to celebrate National Retrograde Day with this title. The grand reward is a thousand times your wager, and if you win it, you can celebrate in a manner befitting the era by making yourself look as wretched as possible.

2 deities: Zeus and Thor
In this 4ThePlayer release from 2020, you get to experience how two of the biggest names in the divinity business might fare in a head-to-head matchup. In the Greek half, we have Zeus, and in the Norse half, we have Thor. It’s not a boxing match, although that’s a very fantastic way to put it.
The slot machine features five reels between the gods Zeus (left) and Thor (right). The spaced-out reels symbolize the battlefield between the two deities. Mixed Greek letters and ancient runic symbols make up the lower-value symbols, while helmets, ships, and terrifying creatures from Greek and Norse mythology make up the medium-value ones.
Both Zeus and Thor, as expanding wilds, can take up an entire row of a slot machine. The Greek god Zeus and his symbols pay from left to right, while the Norse god Thor and his symbols do the opposite.
There are two spin buttons in this game because it uses the Dual Spin mechanism. If you hit the red button and get a winning combination from left to right, you’ll get double the value of your win. Any wins from right to left when you spin with the blue button will be multiplied by two. Defeating an opponent will count, but only at the normal payout rates.
If you get three scatters, you’ll play a bonus game called Win Spins. This will give you seven turns at a guaranteed victory on each turn. You can boost a Win Spin Multiplier before it pays out by picking a different color for each spin and getting a win that matches it.
